A password manager is designed to store all kinds of crucial information: passwords, credit cards, software registrations and so on. Once you have entered the data, only one password is required to unlock the program. Many password manager programs allow for synchronization with Smart Phones, so you have your passwords and other data at your fingertips wherever you go.

I use my password manager daily and no longer waste time going through the dreaded “forgot password” process that most sites require to retrieve your password.
